Kristin Steele is a Portland-based writer with an MFA in creative writing from Goddard College. She teaches playwriting to at-risk youth and volunteers as a community writing facilitator, leading adult workshops in domestic violence shelters, the county jail, public housing projects, and community spaces. Steeleās stage work has been produced in Los Angeles and workshopped in New York and Ashland at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Her fiction and non-fiction works have appeared in magazines, newspapers, and literary anthologies.
